A simple Yosemite search-field. shows the basic animations. I made this because all the other implementations didn't really convince me...
Thanks to an idea from @wbar8417 I added a non JS reset and some minor tweaks.
Uses a pre made image as the background of the canvas element and draws a user defined line pattern over the top. Position of the lines is determined by cursor position.
